| Assure them they have done nothing wrong and are not to blame for the
abuse |
| Realize the victim may be in danger and often will feel safer than
they really are |
| Report suspected child abuse to the Teton County Sheriff at 354-2323
or the Department of Health and Welfare at 800-752-1412 |
| DON"T offer advice, especially to leave the relationship as this can
be dangerous |
| Instead, encourage the victim to seek help with Family Safety Network
